Sep 02, 2018 Screen size. Size matters – and this has never been truer than for sheet music display. With a ratio of 4:3, the iPad Pro’s screen is the best available option to display the content of a standard A4 paper (11:8.5 ratio), which is the format most musicians use to print sheet music.

I have several tracks in Garageband 11 (6.0.2). I know how to view the score and print each track, but I have a problem. Some tracks don't start until part way into the score, and I expected garageband to print the sheet music for that track with the appropriate leading rests. However it doesn't. Instead, the score for that track starts with measure one being the first note for that track, rather then the requires rests.

 

Any idea how to fix this problem? Is there a setting I am missing, or do I am doing something wrong?

You may want to display your composition with standard notes, clef signs, and so on. Select a software instrument region and open Track Editor by clicking the button at the lower-left corner of the screen. Click the notation view button (it has a musical note on it) in the lower-right corner of the editor’s header area and start composing.
